For years companies have offered fairly comprehensive manual transmission packages. They include the transmission, bellhousing, clutch, shifter, even master and slave cylinders. However, perfecting the pedal ratio, selecting the correct bore master cylinder, and mounting everything correctly leaves too much room for error. In an effort to save time and get you on the road with much less headache we have developed a better solution. We now offer a complete bolt in pedal assembly with integrated hydraulics. You simply drop your steering column, install the pedal assembly, connect the hoses, bleed the system, and start bangin gears!
They include all of the necessary hoses and fittings, Tilton master cylinder, billet remote reservoir, and the new pedal assembly. The pedal assemblies are manufactured right here in Illinois and are assembled with new pedal pads, pivot bushings, and hardware. Powder coated satin black and are available with OE style pedal pads.

Video Summary: 1973–1987 Square Body Hydraulic Clutch Conversion Pedal Assembly
In this video, Level 7 Motorsports introduces its hydraulic clutch conversion pedal assembly designed specifically for 1973–1987 Chevrolet and GMC Square Body pickup trucks. This complete replacement pedal assembly was engineered to simplify hydraulic clutch conversions while eliminating many of the common challenges associated with custom installations.
Unlike universal conversion kits, this system comes with the clutch master cylinder already mounted to the pedal assembly and the clutch pedal ratio properly engineered from the start. This removes the guesswork of selecting the correct master cylinder location or pedal geometry. The kit also includes preassembled hydraulic hoses for both the pressure and reservoir sides, making installation faster and more straightforward.
A built-in clutch pressure switch is included in the pressure line, allowing it to be wired into a starter relay for added safety. The kit also includes a black anodized aluminum reservoir, firewall fitting, and a mounting bracket that installs using existing windshield wiper motor bolts, requiring no complicated fabrication.
The video also highlights the flexibility built into the brake pedal design. The assembly supports both power brake and manual brake configurations. For power brakes, an included machined pin installs directly into the brake pedal. For manual brake setups, the assembly uses a higher mounting position that provides the correct 6.3:1 pedal ratio, making it compatible with Wilwood manual brake master cylinders. Longer mounting studs are also included for installations using master cylinder spacers.
In addition to its hydraulic clutch and brake features, the pedal assembly retains provisions for factory accessories, including mounting locations for power window relays and, on applicable trucks, the cruise control release switch. The result is a pedal assembly that preserves factory functionality while incorporating modern performance and installation improvements.
Whether you're converting to a manual transmission, upgrading your braking system, or building a high-performance Square Body truck, this pedal assembly provides a complete, thoughtfully engineered solution that reduces installation time and delivers factory-like fit and function with modern hydraulic performance.
